In the 4th match minute, Biysk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artem Emchenko to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Rojas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Yuriy Havroshin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Grigoriy Kozhanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Lagunillas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Larioshin came free, but Aldo Abeliuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxín Salcedo lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Maxín Salcedo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The long shot by Iosif Larioshin in the 15th minute really tested Aldo Abeliuk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With an all-out effort, Biysk FC's Aldo Abeliuk threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iosif Larioshin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iosif Larioshin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gennadiy Bilinskiy got free with Aldo Abeliuk in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benicio Dechent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Havroshin having to interfere. Aldo Abeliuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Larioshin in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Jacobo Jofre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yuriy Havroshin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 48th minute, Jacobo Jofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Lagunillas AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernest Bondarev to make the kick off. Aldo Abeliuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Larioshin in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes, Iosif Larioshin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Biysk FC and the Lagunillas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iosif Larioshin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Lagunillas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Larioshin came free, but Aldo Abeliuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Rojas might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yuriy Havroshin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Rojas ran back to his position shaking his head. Lagunillas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernest Bondarev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 88 minutes into the match, Iosif Larioshin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aldo Abeliuk.
