The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Rexino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurgis Misius was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Ignas Genčiauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilde FC's Elpidio Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignas Genčiauskas in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Nereo Ibon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wilde FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Leitgiriai the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Wilde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Ibon to maneuver through the defense. Ignas Genčiauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Elpidio Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Rexino in the 20th minute of play forced FC Leitgiriai's goalkeeper Jurgis Misius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilde FC's Flavio Blasi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Anselmo Rexino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgis Misius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Blasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jurgis Misius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Frichoso's late challenge caught a FC Leitgiriai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Leitgiriai booed when Wilde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Mateo Toli in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Leitgiriai's Albinas Bačiulis. Ignas Genčiauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Valery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Elpidio Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignas Genčiauskas in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Anselmo Rexino made the kick off in the second half. FC Leitgiriai's Ignas Genčiauskas got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Wilde FC's zone, Ignas Genčiauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Valery came out of the goal and Ignas Genčiauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldas Gavėnas lost his temper 59 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Leitgiriai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Wilde FC's Jaime Medina got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jurgis Misius. In the 63rd match minute, Wilde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Ibon to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Laurynas Gavėnas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Valery was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 68 minutes into the game, Ignas Genčiauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Elpidio Valery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FC Leitgiriai's Karolis Gailiūnas got a free kick in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the game, FC Leitgiriai's Ignas Genčiauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
