The Korolev FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ippolit Orlov should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ippolit Orlov was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The supporters of Korolev FC booed when Lagunillas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Jofre took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ippolit Orlov. Ippolit Orlov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega sped through Korolev FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ippolit Orlov. After the first half Lagunillas AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Putilin to make the kick off. Lagunillas AFC's Felipe Rojas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ippolit Orlov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega in the 70th minute. Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 71stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ippolit Orlov would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.
