After 3 minutes of play, Korolev FC's Konstantin Petrakov made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mpenza Madiya was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Petrakov in the 6th minute of play forced Eiffel's goalkeeper Mpenza Madiya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mpenza Madiya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Putilin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Roman Gulbinskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mpenza Madiya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Papi Madima in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ippolit Orlov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Takalani Mbule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Denis Putilin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mpenza Madiya. Eiffel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Putilin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mpenza Madiya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantin Petrakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Denis Putilin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mpenza Madiya having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Putilin in the 28th minute of play forced Eiffel's goalkeeper Mpenza Madiya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ippolit Orlov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Takalani Mbule in the 29th minute. Mpenza Madiya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Putilin in the 34th minute of play. Takalani Mbule blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ippolit Orlov having to make a save. The supporters of Eiffel booed when Korolev FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Gulbinskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siphokazi Madiba hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Terence Madiya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ippolit Orlov. Terence Madiya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After having played for 46 minutes, Takalani Mbule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eiffel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takalani Mbule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Putilin made a kick off. Denis Putilin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mpenza Madiya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantin Petrakov went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Mpenza Madiya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Putilin in the 57th minute of the match. Efim Kovyzhenko hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Takalani Mbule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ippolit Orlov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Papi Madima came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Eiffel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Papi Madima couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Gulbinskiy in the 64th minute of play forced Eiffel's goalkeeper Mpenza Madiya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eiffel's Papi Madima got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ippolit Orlov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takalani Mbule, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Takalani Mbule during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Eiffel got a freekick which was hit by Takalani Mbule. After some careless play in the Korolev FC defense, Terence Madiya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ippolit Orlov. The Korolev FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ippolit Orlov should have stopped the shot. Zinoviy Arzhevitinov hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Eiffel's Mpenza Madiya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Eiffel from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Takalani Mbule managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eiffel's supporters rose to their feet, but Takalani Mbule was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ippolit Orlov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Papi Madima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ippolit Orlov. Korolev FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Papi Madima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. The supporters of Korolev FC booed when Eiffel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Tshabalala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korolev FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Eiffel to leave the ground with a draw.
