Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Egor Kibenko made the kick off which started today's match. When Bytlaukis FC's Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Volgograd's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Juras Mackevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bytlaukis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juras Mackevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Volgograd's Valeriy Glinnikov got a free kick in the 6th minute. Kirill Lobanov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rimvydas Stackevičius's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kirill Lobanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kirill Lobanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauras Dackus, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Rimvydas Stackevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valeriy Glinnikov's late challenge caught a Bytlaukis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeriy Glinnikov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute Bytlaukis FC were awarded a corner. Vygandas Borgela went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Gytis Raugalas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Valeriy Glinnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th match minute, Bytlaukis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juras Mackevičius to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Bytlaukis FC's Vygandas Borgela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kirill Lobanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gytis Raugalas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Anton Matveev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Volgograd booed when Bytlaukis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juras Mackevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rimvydas Stackevičius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kirill Lobanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rimvydas Stackevičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Rimvydas Stackevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bytlaukis FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Bytlaukis FC's Rimvydas Stackevičius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 57 minutes into the game, Rimvydas Stackevičius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kirill Lobanov. Kirill Lobanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 64th minute of the match. Kirill Lobanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vygandas Borgela, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Rimvydas Stackevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the game, Nikita Leonchenko threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bytlaukis FC's Irtautas Kučinskas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rimas Morkūnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egor Kibenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 78th minute of play forced Volgograd's goalkeeper Kirill Lobanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Rimvydas Stackevičius made a precise shot to the right of Kirill Lobanov. Volgograd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Egor Kibenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volgograd's supporters rose to their feet, but Egor Kibenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rimas Morkūnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rimvydas Stackevičius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kirill Lobanov having to make a save. Rimvydas Stackevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirill Lobanov having to interfere.
