After a defensive mix-up in Piratas FC's zone, Olaf Gall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Maria came out of the goal and Olaf Gall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Hernandez made a kick off. After 66 minutes, Fermin Dolfo made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Piratas FC's Aaron Maria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yalapa made a substitution. Leonardo Nogueira replaced Fermin Dolfo. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Aaron Maria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Piratas FC defense, Leonardo Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Maria. The Piratas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Maria should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Nogueira came free, but Aaron Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Tome received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
