Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Mendes ran back to his position shaking his head. When Edmundo Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Los Playmobil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Mendes couldn't finish the play. Tequila Sunrise's Napoleon Ochylski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Tequila Sunrise from getting a goal against them. The Los Playmobil FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Tequila Sunrise booed when Los Playmobil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Hierro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Vilhelm Giliusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tequila Sunrise's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Giliusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Borys Patora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Mendes in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Ochylski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Napoleon Ochylski was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Edmundo Mendes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Mendes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Napoleon Ochylski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 32nd minute Cipriano Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Ochylski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Ochylski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Mendes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 41 minute of play. After some careless play in the Tequila Sunrise defense, Edmundo Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Napoleon Ochylski. The Tequila Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Napoleon Ochylski should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Mendes was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edmundo Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Napoleon Ochylski was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 54th minute, Edmundo Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Napoleon Ochylski was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 62nd minute, Nicasio Rito made a precise shot to the right of Napoleon Ochylski. Tequila Sunrise's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Mendes in the 69th minute of play forced Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Napoleon Ochylski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Rito took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Napoleon Ochylski. Napoleon Ochylski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Napoleon Ochylski came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes. But to his dismay, Edmundo Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. In the 80th minute Cipriano Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Ochylski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Platini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napoleon Ochylski. Tequila Sunrise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Platini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Napoleon Ochylski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Edmundo Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Napoleon Ochylski was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. In the 90th minute, Iwan Kolbert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Playmobil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. When the referee ended the match the Los Playmobil FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
