The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Aguilera saved Los Hijos de Doña Beija from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Mariusz Zalipski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Krawczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 7th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Argi Casta in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Goral Zywiec's Luca De La Torre. Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Rocha in the 13th minute of play. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 19th minute of play. Luca De La Torre kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Luís Fábio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michael Krawczyk made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Luís Fábio Rocha sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Goral Zywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fábio Rocha came free, but Michael Krawczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Sandaili. Michael Krawczyk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fábio Rocha went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Jyrki Sillanpää was substituted for Demy Ottens. The wind increased when Luís Fábio Rocha made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Grzegorz Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Aguilera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Aguilera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute of the match, Grzegorz Jajecznica tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Aguilera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Goral Zywiec made a substitution. Fariz Nair replaced Gao Wei Fei. After 70 minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfred Ewertowski who took care of the corner kick. Michael Krawczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 76th minute of the match. The corner ended in Feliciano Haritzeder almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk did a great save. Indiana Jones hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indiana Jones in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Krawczyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fariz Nair came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Goral Zywiec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fariz Nair couldn't finish the play.
