After having played for 11 minutes, Roman Hlus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kings Castle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Hlus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cruz Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Mugnier in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Kings Castle's goalkeeper Cruz Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rayanne Saurat. Gameiro Loth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Göksel Hunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gameiro Loth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Cuevas in the 22nd minute of the match. Djimmy Jasmin's late challenge caught a Kings Castle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Djimmy Jasmin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Elegance Dijon's Djimmy Jasmin got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Ralph Cuevas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gameiro Loth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Hlus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martial Mugnier in the 44th minute of play forced Kings Castle's goalkeeper Cruz Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arda Göksel Hunalp came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Kings Castle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arda Göksel Hunalp couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Carl Clifton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Kings Castle's Ralph Cuevas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Gameiro Loth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Hlus in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Kings Castle getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aqel Kamal hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Mathys Gaudillat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elegance Dijon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kings Castle the free kick. After 70 played minutes Elegance Dijon got a freekick which was hit by Mathys Gaudillat. Elegance Dijon's Gameiro Loth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Hlus in the 73rd minute of play. Arda Göksel Hunalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Gameiro Loth when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Djimmy Jasmin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Mathieu Dekeyser struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gameiro Loth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kings Castle. In the 82nd minute Arda Göksel Hunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gameiro Loth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayanne Saurat in the 87th minute of play forced Kings Castle's goalkeeper Cruz Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arda Göksel Hunalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gameiro Loth came out and tried to block the shot, but Arda Göksel Hunalp slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 93rd minute. If Sid Kline had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kings Castle's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
