En Avant Nikko's Silvestre Derwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save En Avant Nikko from getting a goal against them. Keilor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Firman Morientes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Firman Morientes in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keilor Navas saved Akyazi FK from getting behind. Firman Morientes took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keilor Navas. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keilor Navas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Keilor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firman Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Akyazi FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. En Avant Nikko were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Firman Morientes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Gilbert Reix made a precise shot to the right of Keilor Navas. Akyazi FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
