Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Chico in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vikingos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfonso Jacindo was slow to take the kick. During this time BloodHounds F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Ladislao Erramu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Astor Ruy made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Erramu in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Ruy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Chico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastián Sosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. BloodHounds F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfonso Jacindo in the 26th minute. BloodHounds F.C.'s Alfonso Jacindo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastián Sosa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Vladimiro Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alfonso Jacindo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastián Sosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Elias Chico scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastián Sosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 71st minute Elias Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Abaurre in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Gustav Cordera took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastián Sosa. Sebastián Sosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BloodHounds F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
