Cristian Lorien was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Duran Hunalp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Sacro Balompié's Cristian Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duran Hunalp in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Cabezones getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Duran Hunalp hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Sacro Balompié's Teobaldo Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dong Zhen Song made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Sacro Balompié were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Cabezones's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aquiles Bieito took the corner. The corner led Sacro Balompié's Mané Lago to fire away a dangerous shot which Dong Zhen Song despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Peto in the 19th minute of play forced Cabezones's goalkeeper Dong Zhen Song to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cabezones booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cabezones's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Peto came free, but Dong Zhen Song reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Aquiles Bieito notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cabezones's Dong Zhen Song. Dong Zhen Song was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dong Zhen Song stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Peto's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes in the game, Apolo Peto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Apolo Peto kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cabezones's Dong Zhen Song played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Gaueko in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Cabezones booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Apolo Peto made the kick off in the second half. Apolo Peto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Tome in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Sacro Balompié got a corner. Cabezones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Bieito ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gervasio Lidon made a great header on Sacro Balompié's corner, it was just that Cabezones's Dong Zhen Song managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sacro Balompié's Gervasio Lidon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dong Zhen Song. That made the score 2-3 after 57 minutes of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Aquiles Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacro Balompié's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cabezones's Raf Feys got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 69 played minutes Cabezones got a freekick which was hit by Jacek Brak. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabezones's goalkeeper Dong Zhen Song, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duran Hunalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Eriberto Oso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sacro Balompié's Jeremias Gaueko got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Cristian Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raf Feys, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Cristian Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raf Feys in the 74th minute of the match. Dong Zhen Song made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Gaueko in the 75th minute. The supporters of Cabezones booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Bernal in the 82nd minute of play forced Cabezones's goalkeeper Dong Zhen Song to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cabezones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Shepherd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. 94 minutes into the match, Cabezones's goalkeeper Dong Zhen Song had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremias Gaueko.

The Sacro Balompié supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sacro Balompié would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
