The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. BK Nerysminne's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Hannes Jamieson scored to the left of an out of position Douglas Käcker, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartjan Verheije got free with Douglas Käcker in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartjan Verheije who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Douglas Käcker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 12th minute of play forced BK Nerysminne's goalkeeper Douglas Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes BK Nerysminne's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Renan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bruno Renan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Douglas Käcker quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hannes Jamieson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 18th minute of play forced BK Nerysminne's goalkeeper Douglas Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BK Nerysminne's Douglas Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Renan in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Bartjan Verheije reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Douglas Käcker. The goal made the score 2-0. BK Nerysminne's Douglas Käcker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save BK Nerysminne from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Bruno Renan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BK Nerysminne's Douglas Käcker did a great save. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Käcker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Douglas Käcker. Douglas Käcker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bror Hanmark stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacky Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, BK Nerysminne's goal looked a bit too open when Bartjan Verheije came free, but Douglas Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Jamieson scored 6-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douglas Käcker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Douglas Käcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartjan Verheije, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK Gullegem's Benedicto Atarratze managed to work through BK Nerysminne's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Benedicto Atarratze dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Douglas Käcker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias-Alexander Jamieson's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute, Otto Nørlinger made a precise shot to the right of Douglas Käcker. BK Nerysminne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Urmas Känsäkangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bror Hanmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the SK Gullegem players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
