Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentin Gougeon in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Bertol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynardo Salto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Endrick de Souza put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Andoni Zubizarreta. 27 minutes into the game, Florentin Gougeon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joel Bertol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Rayland FC booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lin Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Teodoro Hernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andoni Zubizarreta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Rayland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Logan came free, but Joel Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
