In the 2nd minute, Franco Catena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Léo Pires. The goal made the score 1-0. Léo Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Catena in the 10th minute of the match. Léo Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Catena, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 18 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Furtado. In the 19th minute, Franco Catena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Léo Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Catena, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo De Francesco came free, but Léo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Franco Catena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Léo Pires was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Vargas to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Franco Catena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Comunardo De Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Xurupita FC's zone, Franco Catena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Pires came out of the goal and Franco Catena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Elia Pedrelli. Xurupita FC's Léo Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo De Francesco in the 46th minute of play. Léo Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo De Francesco in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franco Catena to make the kick off. Léo Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Comunardo De Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Franco Catena made a precise shot to the right of Léo Pires. Xurupita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Comunardo De Francesco took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Pires. Léo Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 67th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Luz to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, FC Aquile Azzurre's Franco Catena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Léo Pires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Xurupita FC defense, Franco Catena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Pires. The Xurupita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Pires should have stopped the shot. Nico Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Xurupita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Léo Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Comunardo De Francesco in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Franco Catena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Branco hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Elia Pedrelli. Léo Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Catena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FC Aquile Azzurre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
