Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Valiente started the match with the kick off. Mathias Kielberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Iago having to interfere. Stakbröte's Aaron Buba got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Hernan Gagriel got a free kick in the 6th minute. Văn 吕布 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Iago having to interfere. In the 8th minute Sverker Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sverker Hydén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Iago was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Sverker Hydén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stakbröte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carlos Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Hydén, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Sverker Hydén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Sverker Hydén made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Iago. Newells Old Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Văn 吕布 couldn't finish the play. After the first half Stakbröte were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newells Old Boys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sverker Hydén was slow to take the kick. During this time Stakbröte's players had a chance to rest. Joaquin Jerrald thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Carlos Iago, a very annoying self made goal in the 55th minute which led to 0-9. A collision led to Newells Old Boys getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hernan Gagriel hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Văn 吕布 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Iago, 0-10. 64 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Hydén came free, but Carlos Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sverker Hydén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Stakbröte fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Stakbröte's Sverker Hydén looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stakbröte made a substitution. Tage Eklund replaced Sverker Hydén. Stakbröte made a substitution. Romeo Beckham Jr replaced Văn 吕布. After 81 minutes of play, Stakbröte's Tage Eklund made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Iago was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Newells Old Boys's Carlos Iago got control of the ball when Tage Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tage Eklund in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Iago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Carlos Iago stood somewhat misplaced when Tage Eklund came free in front of goal and shot 0-15 to the left of him in the 88 minute. Carlos Iago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tage Eklund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-16 in the 91 minute of play. Tage Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Carlos Iago made a huge save. The Newells Old Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stakbröte were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
