Guanacos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Fermin Dolfo scored to the left of an out of position Marcial Orlandus, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Angelino Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basri İhtiyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Clemencin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Cristo Izel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marcial Orlandus made a huge save. Angelino Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basri İhtiyar having to interfere. Fermin Dolfo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Marcial Orlandus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Clemencin came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Faustino Dimo in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guanacos's Paulo Pierres. Fermin Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marcial Orlandus made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Pierres came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basri İhtiyar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Pierres's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Guanacos were awarded a corner. Ricardo Hug went to the cornerflag to take it. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pierres in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Paulo Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcial Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Clemencin got free with Basri İhtiyar in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı was substituted for Fermin Dolfo. Yalapa made a substitution. Atilano Dino replaced Olaf Gall. Guanacos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Hug in the 63rd minute. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Basri İhtiyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Clemencin in the 67th minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Paulo Pierres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basri İhtiyar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Sebastian Pinto got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Ignazio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Fausto Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Martxelin in the 82nd minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Clemencin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basri İhtiyar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Fausto Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Yalapa's corner Diego Armando Junior fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcial Orlandus quite easily take care of the ball.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yalapa had won after a very even match.
