Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toader Bogrea started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toader Bogrea got free with Cristi Miheș in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Toader Bogrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Miheș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbert Benkó in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halil Utku Evvah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halil Utku Evvah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Benkó in the 13th minute of play. Eintracht Cernavoda's Narcis Bunescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristian Anastasiu, made in the 16th minute of the game. Róbert Benkó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Benkó came free, but Halil Utku Evvah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Nițescu charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihai Nițescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Halil Utku Evvah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Benkó's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. If Elder Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Vali Caramarin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbert Benkó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Benkó in the 45th minute of play forced Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Eintracht Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Toader Bogrea. Eintracht Cernavoda made a substitution. Nechifor Beșliu replaced Toader Bogrea. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Cernavoda's zone, Róbert Benkó stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Utku Evvah came out of the goal and Róbert Benkó tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Baicu in the 63rd minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Cristi Miheș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th play minute Róbert Benkó came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Halil Utku Evvah. 0-1. Eintracht Cernavoda's Halil Utku Evvah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them. Halil Utku Evvah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Igon in the 85th minute of the match. Filomeno Igon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Armada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Armada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
