Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergiu Coșeriu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Shen Jian Song made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Coporan. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute Shen Jian Song shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Coporan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match FC MCM got a corner. Academia Rio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olimpiu Şimoc ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC MCM's corner Olimpiu Şimoc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelian Coporan quite easily take care of the ball. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FC MCM from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Valeriu Ilinca with Dumitru Pantelimon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Shen Jian Song's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Coporan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Shen Jian Song ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Coporan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Shen Jian Song cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aurelian Coporan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgil Şimonca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Păvăloae in the 33rd minute of play forced FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the game Valeriu Ilinca made a throw-in which Dumitru Pantelimon played forward. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aron Suşu hit a great ball. After the first half FC MCM were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC MCM's Amaury Hulsen was substituted for Shen Jian Song. Amaury Hulsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Coporan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Amaury Hulsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC MCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Amaury Hulsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Coporan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Amaury Hulsen. After 64 played minutes FC MCM got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Gâgea. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergiu Coșeriu in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Tufescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Rio from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Pricop got free with Aurelian Coporan in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Academia Rio booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Gâgea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Şimonca came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandru Beșliu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Manuel Tufescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radu Păvăloae went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Şimonca in the 85th minute of play. Aurelian Coporan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaury Hulsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Tufescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Aurelian Coporan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Pricop in the 94th minute. The FC MCM players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
