The referee ignored Eintracht Cernavoda's protests and gave Emilian Bădulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Branco FC's Efrain Venceslao was substituted for Sotiris Vergos. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Eintracht Cernavoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilian Bădulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Branco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Gabrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Nechifor Beșliu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Wilfredo Manilan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Eintracht Cernavoda's Nechifor Beșliu in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Eintracht Cernavoda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
