Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Poland's Grzegorz Gdaniec started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Chile's Lorencio Irarrázaval got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Poland's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorencio Irarrázaval in the 5th minute of play. Tolek Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 16th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ervigio Ojeda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tolek Kiszkiel. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Poland defense, Ervigio Ojeda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolek Kiszkiel. The Poland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Kiszkiel should have stopped the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Grzegorz Gdaniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Enrique Enoch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Gdaniec in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Enoch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Poland's Ulryk Miodek got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th match minute, Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Maguire to maneuver through the defense. Poland's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bautista Marcó in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Ervigio Ojeda made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 51st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Enrique Enoch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Enoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Pisarcik in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Poland booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Ramírez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chile's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev was substituted for Peter Talvik. Poland's Konstanty Janiczek was substituted for Grzegorz Gdaniec. Chile's Carlo Darrigrande was substituted for Ervigio Ojeda. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Juan Ramírez hit a great ball. Konstanty Janiczek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Enrique Enoch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 66th minute of the match, Konstanty Janiczek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Enoch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Enrique Enoch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enrique Enoch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Pisarcik in the 71st minute of the match. Enrique Enoch made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Konstanty Janiczek sent off a good shot on target. Tolek Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Darrigrande in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poland's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Konstanty Janiczek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Enoch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Poland got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lech Pisarcik ran over to the corner to take the kick. Herbert Grom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Enrique Enoch made a huge save. Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Darrigrande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Poland for a fine match.
