Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Upson in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Pancho saved Santa Fe from getting behind. When Dakar Olympique's Kris Upson, in the 3rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Dakar Olympique. Serafino Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Upson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Ramos came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vágner de Lara could save by the left post. In the 13th minute, Rafael Ramos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vágner de Lara. The goal made the score 2-0. Dakar Olympique's Vágner de Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Dakar Olympique from getting a goal against them. Romulo Lalla took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vágner de Lara. Vágner de Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Santa Fe's Roque Roso was substituted for Romulo Lalla. Santa Fe's Serafino Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Tinker in the 31st minute of play. Vágner de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Fernando Pratto in the 32nd minute of play. Serafino Pancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Hislop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play, Dakar Olympique's Graeme Tinker made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Pancho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Kris Upson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Pancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Roque Roso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Roque Roso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vágner de Lara. The goal made the score 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Vágner de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Ramos in the 52nd minute of play. Santa Fe's Serafino Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Tinker in the 60th minute of play. When Graeme Tinker came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Dakar Olympique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graeme Tinker couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Dakar Olympique's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Fernando Pratto came free, but Vágner de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geoff Vassell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Serafino Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Santa Fe's Roque Roso in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dakar Olympique's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Dakar Olympique defense, Juan Fernando Pratto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vágner de Lara. The Dakar Olympique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vágner de Lara should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Juan Fernando Pratto notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Dakar Olympique's Vágner de Lara. Vágner de Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Whittaker hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Vágner de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Roso in the 80th minute of play. Serafino Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graeme Tinker in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Gareth Shipton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dakar Olympique's Guy Furlong got a free kick in the 88th minute. Geoff Vassell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Santa Fe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
