In the 9th match minute, Club Deportivo Logroño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joffre Arizabal to maneuver through the defense. Club Deportivo Logroño's Samuel Falguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Logroño's goalkeeper Samuel Falguera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Robert Ununger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ManagerZone Crew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Ununger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Thorbjörn Olerius came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the ManagerZone Crew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thorbjörn Olerius couldn't finish the play.
