The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Lentz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl Lentz's late challenge caught a Grozny FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Lentz helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Sefton FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl Lentz. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
