The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mersad Atić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Intxixu in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO RACING got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Mateus. In the 6th minute, Clemente Mateus fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Mersad Atić. When Clemente Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the CLUB ATLETICO RACING fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Mateus couldn't finish the play. Remigio Petri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahro Hrkac, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO RACING getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gogo Urtats hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahro Hrkac in the 17th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RACING's goalkeeper Remigio Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Petri acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amel Elezović. The supporters of Krtjenovici HRK booed when CLUB ATLETICO RACING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Camerino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Rafael Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Ralondo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mersad Atić saved Krtjenovici HRK from getting behind. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Krtjenovici HRK's goalkeeper Mersad Atić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Ralondo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mersad Atić saved Krtjenovici HRK from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Bahro Hrkac reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remigio Petri. The goal made the score 3-0. Bahro Hrkac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Petri having to interfere. If Clemente Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafael Ralondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47thth minute of the game Clemente Mateus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Krtjenovici HRK's Mersad Atić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of CLUB ATLETICO RACING booed when Krtjenovici HRK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harun Brdanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Kaja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remigio Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahro Hrkac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogo Urtats during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO RACING getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gogo Urtats hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Bahro Hrkac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB ATLETICO RACING's Remigio Petri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Mersad Atić managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when CLUB ATLETICO RACING's Rafael Ralondo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 65 minutes, Rafael Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB ATLETICO RACING's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Ralondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigio Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Kaja in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Bahro Hrkac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Remigio Petri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Krtjenovici HRK's Mersad Atić got control of the ball when Rafael Ralondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Bahro Hrkac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Kaja scored 5-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Petri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 minutes of play, Krtjenovici HRK's Mario Kaja made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Petri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91st play minutes Bahro Hrkac shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Remigio Petri and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 95th match minute, Krtjenovici HRK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harun Brdanović to maneuver through the defense.
