A collision led to Centeno getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alonzo Pedroso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Furman in the 9th minute of play forced Centeno's goalkeeper Ramiro Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Dominic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Cerilo having to make a save. In the 14th play minute Damaso Hermelando came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ramiro Manny. 1-0. Centeno's Ramiro Manny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Goi in the 21st minute of play. Hilario Quinten charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Quinten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Martin fierro booed when Centeno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Hermelando struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ramiro Manny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martin fierro. After 27 played minutes Martin fierro got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Goi. Aristides Dominic's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timoteo Cerilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Lázaro Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Martin fierro booed when Centeno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Furman in the 43rd minute of the match. With his leg Ramiro Manny managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Martin fierro's Damaso Hermelando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Santiago Furman struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ramiro Manny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martin fierro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Santiago Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Manny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Furman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Damaso Hermelando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martin fierro's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Hermelando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Manny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Santiago Furman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Manny was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Damaso Hermelando kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Bruno Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Manny having to interfere. Santiago Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ramiro Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Elpidio Otoniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Furman in the 72nd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Martin fierro's Damaso Hermelando made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Manny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santiago Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Manny having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Damaso Hermelando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Manny. Centeno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Hermelando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 98th minute, Lázaro Goi made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Manny. Centeno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Centeno's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
