Grozny FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Harun Brdanović scored to the left of an out of position Matvey Kartashev, making the score, 1-0. Viktor Polyakov lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grozny FC! The referee gave Krtjenovici HRK a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bariz Serdarević, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev. 2-0. After 22 minutes Grozny FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bariz Serdarević who took care of the corner kick. Mersad Atić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Berketov in the 24th minute of play. Grozny FC's Aleksey Bolotin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artem Gostintsev during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Artem Gostintsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahro Hrkac in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Krtjenovici HRK booed when Grozny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksey Bolotin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Krtjenovici HRK's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Berketov came free, but Mersad Atić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, Bahro Hrkac tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Matvey Kartashev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grozny FC! Bariz Serdarević shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 42 minutes into the match, Grozny FC's goalkeeper Matvey Kartashev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Kaja. In the 44th minute, Mario Kaja made a precise shot to the right of Matvey Kartashev. Grozny FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Mario Kaja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matvey Kartashev having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrey Berketov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Harun Brdanović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Krtjenovici HRK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of Krtjenovici HRK booed when Grozny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artem Gostintsev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Krtjenovici HRK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Grozny FC's zone, Mario Kaja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matvey Kartashev came out of the goal and Mario Kaja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matvey Kartashev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahro Hrkac in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute Bahro Hrkac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matvey Kartashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Kaja in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute Mario Kaja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matvey Kartashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Mario Kaja made a precise shot to the right of Matvey Kartashev. Grozny FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Duje Mirić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matvey Kartashev having to interfere. Matvey Kartashev came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Krtjenovici HRK's Mario Kaja. But to his dismay, Mario Kaja quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 95 minutes into the match, Mario Kaja notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev. Matvey Kartashev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Krtjenovici HRK were the better team. Krtjenovici HRK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
