The supporters of Herscheid FC booed when Grozny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irakliy Fioletov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matvey Kartashev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedikt Hefter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Grozny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonius Bache came free, but Matvey Kartashev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Isidor Hefter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matvey Kartashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Herscheid FC's Benedikt Hefter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matvey Kartashev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Matvey Kartashev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedikt Hefter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Lukas Banz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herscheid FC's Arthur Abermatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Silin in the 30th minute of play. Finn Boshold's late challenge caught a Grozny FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Finn Boshold helped the player get up and apologised. When Aleksey Bolotin fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grozny FC's protests and gave Aleksey Bolotin a yellow card for diving instead. Aleksey Bolotin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Grozny FC defense, Benedikt Hefter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matvey Kartashev. The Grozny FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matvey Kartashev should have stopped the shot. Matvey Kartashev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedikt Hefter in the 45th minute of the match. Arthur Abermatt came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Grozny FC's Andrey Berketov. But to his dismay, Andrey Berketov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonius Bache to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedikt Hefters short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Matvey Kartashev to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vladimir Silin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herscheid FC's Arthur Abermatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Silin in the 57th minute of play. Matvey Kartashev came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Herscheid FC's Benedikt Hefter. But to his dismay, Benedikt Hefter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 61st minute, Isidor Hefter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andrey Berketov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Antonius Bache came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Herscheid FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonius Bache couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Grozny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Finn Boshold came free, but Matvey Kartashev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes, Lev Dobropolskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grozny FC and the Herscheid FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grozny FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lev Dobropolskiy hit a great ball. Arthur Abermatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Berketov in the 71st minute of play. After 77 played minutes Grozny FC got a freekick which was hit by Artem Gostintsev. Matvey Kartashev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonius Bache showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. Matvey Kartashev didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Grozny FC from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Herscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Silin came free, but Arthur Abermatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Andrey Berketov notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Herscheid FC's Arthur Abermatt. Arthur Abermatt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Herscheid FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
