The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrey Berketov got free with Remigio Petri in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO RACING getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Vladimiro Urbasa hit a great ball. Remigio Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Silin in the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Rafael Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB ATLETICO RACING's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Ralondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Grozny FC's Andrey Berketov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Petri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 26th minute Rafael Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matvey Kartashev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, CLUB ATLETICO RACING's Andres Prejun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matvey Kartashev was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RACING's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksey Bolotin came free, but Remigio Petri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Petri was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Andrey Berketov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andrey Berketov really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Matvey Kartashev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Ralondo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Artem Gostintsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Ralondo in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Ralondo in the 46th minute of play forced Grozny FC's goalkeeper Matvey Kartashev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Rafael Ralondo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matvey Kartashev came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Ralondo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 51st minute. Matvey Kartashev was a little too slow when Gogo Urtats got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 2-3. Remigio Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksey Bolotin in the 58th minute of the match. If Delmiro Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lev Dobropolskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lev Dobropolskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CLUB ATLETICO RACING booed when Grozny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lev Dobropolskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Grozny FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Georgiy Rybakov hit a great ball. Remigio Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Berketov in the 73rd minute of play. Remigio Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Berketov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Prejun in the 80th minute of play forced Grozny FC's goalkeeper Matvey Kartashev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, CLUB ATLETICO RACING's Rafael Ralondo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matvey Kartashev. Matvey Kartashev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After 86 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO RACING got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Urtats. In the 88th minute Andrey Berketov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
