Damaso Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Lentz in the 4th minute of the match. Hernan Derwin's late challenge caught a Sefton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Derwin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sefton FC booed when Manantial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Lentz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Damaso Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Buckholz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Ekaitz having to interfere. Rodrigo Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl Lentz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Ekaitz. Damaso Ekaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Karl Lentz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Lentz scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damaso Ekaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 minutes of play Manantial FC's Hernan Derwin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Manantial FC's Hernan Derwin got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Abaurre during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sefton FC's Franck Blumenfeld was substituted for Max Buckholz. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ollie Wilhelm couldn't finish the play. Saul Raulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Florian Bachmayer made a huge save. Damaso Ekaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jupp Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Karl Lentz put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Damaso Ekaitz.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Lentz to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ollie Wilhelm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sefton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ollie Wilhelm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Ekaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl Lentz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Ekaitz having to interfere. Donny Ronvaux hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Jonas Timo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florian Bachmayer skillfully saved the ball. Karl Lentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Oliverio during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cirilo Oliverio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Sefton FC's Donny Ronvaux managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulino Frasquito in the 69 minute of the game. Cirilo Oliverio struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Florian Bachmayer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manantial FC. 76 minutes into the match, Sefton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Raulo came free, but Florian Bachmayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Karl Lentz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manantial FC's Damaso Ekaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Raulo in the 82nd minute of play forced Sefton FC's goalkeeper Florian Bachmayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Ekaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Lentz in the 86th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Karl Lentz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Damaso Ekaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florian Bachmayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Raulo in the 89th minute of play. Manantial FC's Damaso Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Lentz in the 91st minute of play. Karl Lentz might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Ekaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Lentz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Donny Ronvaux came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sefton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donny Ronvaux couldn't finish the play. Karl Lentz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Sefton FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Manantial FC throughout the match.
