Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl Lentz started the match with the kick off. Karl Lentz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th match minute, Sefton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Lambert to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Westsachsen's Ole Regitz got control of the ball when Karl Lentz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ole Regitz was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Karl Lentz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl Lentz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl Lentz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ole Regitz. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. The supporters of FC Westsachsen booed when Sefton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Buckholz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Karl Lentz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Karl Lentz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole Regitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ole Regitz was a little too slow when Karl Lentz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-0. Jupp Otto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ole Regitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Lentz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Westsachsen's Ole Regitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Lentz in the 39th minute of play. Donny Ronvaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ole Regitz made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Käppele was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Sefton FC's Florian Bachmayer got control of the ball when Raiko Gudat tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Westsachsen's Ole Regitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Lentz in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, FC Westsachsen's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Lentz came free, but Ole Regitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Karl Lentz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ole Regitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donny Ronvaux kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Karl Lentz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole Regitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrad Busse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sefton FC booed when FC Westsachsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Käppele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Käppele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Florian Bachmayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ole Regitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Lentz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Johannes-Markus Röske fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Westsachsen's protests and gave Johannes-Markus Röske a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes FC Westsachsen got a freekick which was hit by Johannes-Markus Röske. Florian Bachmayer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raiko Gudat in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Karl Lentz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sefton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Lentz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ole Regitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ole Regitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ollie Wilhelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Lentz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ole Regitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Sefton FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
