Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santiago Furman kicked off to start the match. Rafael Ralondo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Timoteo Cerilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLETICO RACING. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Furman in the 5th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RACING's goalkeeper Remigio Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Martin fierro's Santiago Furman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remigio Petri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RACING's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Furman came free, but Remigio Petri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Clemente Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the CLUB ATLETICO RACING fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Mateus couldn't finish the play. Clemente Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Martin fierro got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Tartalo. Delmiro Mingo, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 31st match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RACING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Prejun to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Mingo in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Bruno Pelayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Prejun in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Ralondo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Cerilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute, Rafael Ralondo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Ralondo to make the kick off. Timoteo Cerilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Bruno Pelayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Goi in the 58th minute of the match. Delmiro Mingo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Timoteo Cerilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLETICO RACING. A collision led to Martin fierro getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lázaro Goi hit a great ball. CLUB ATLETICO RACING's Remigio Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Goi in the 66th minute of play. Timoteo Cerilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Ralondo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Santiago Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Martin fierro's Bruno Pelayo got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rafael Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martin fierro's Timoteo Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Baltasar Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Rodriguez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Delmiro Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Timoteo Cerilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Ralondo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Gavino Rodriguez walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 91stth minute of the game Rafael Ralondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martin fierro's Timoteo Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute Lázaro Goi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Petri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Martin fierro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Martin fierro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
