A collision led to FC Westsachsen getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Johannes-Markus Röske hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Westsachsen defense, Antonius Bache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ole Regitz. The FC Westsachsen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ole Regitz should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the match, FC Westsachsen's goalkeeper Ole Regitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedikt Hefter. Isidor Hefter kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ole Regitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonius Bache's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Benedikt Hefter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ole Regitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Raiko Gudat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arthur Abermatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Antonius Bache fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ole Regitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedikt Hefter in the 37th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Herscheid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finn Boshold to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Benedikt Hefter put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ole Regitz. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonius Bache made a kick off. Hector Käppele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Abermatt having to interfere. Ole Regitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonius Bache in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Benedikt Hefter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ole Regitz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Herscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Käppele came free, but Arthur Abermatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Käppele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Abermatt having to interfere. Ole Regitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedikt Hefter went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Benedikt Hefter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benedikt Hefter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Antonius Bache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ole Regitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Herscheid FC's Isidor Hefter got a free kick in the 80th minute. Dankward Grimm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arthur Abermatt. Herscheid FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benedikt Hefter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Regitz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finn Boshold in the 91st minute of play forced FC Westsachsen's goalkeeper Ole Regitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Herscheid FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidor Hefter. Antonius Bache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Westsachsen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Herscheid FC.
