Grozny FC's Matvey Kartashev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonius Bache in the 27th minute of play. Matvey Kartashev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonius Bache went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Herscheid FC's Antonius Bache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matvey Kartashev. Matvey Kartashev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 35 minutes into the match, Andrey Berketov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Abermatt. Herscheid FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrey Berketov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Luca Scholze hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Herscheid FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrey Berketov came free, but Arthur Abermatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matvey Kartashev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonius Bache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedikt Hefter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Matvey Kartashev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Vladimir Silin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arthur Abermatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Finn Boshold fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herscheid FC's protests and gave Finn Boshold a yellow card for diving instead. Finn Boshold hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Vladimir Silin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Abermatt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Matvey Kartashev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedikt Hefter in the 74th minute of the match. Matvey Kartashev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Matvey Kartashev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedikt Hefter, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Andrey Berketov notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Herscheid FC's Arthur Abermatt. Arthur Abermatt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grozny FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Herscheid FC.
