Arthur Abermatt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl Lentz went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Antonius Bache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Antonius Bache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian Bachmayer was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sefton FC had won after a very even match.
