FC Westsachsen's Ole Regitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Wolff in the 41st minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Käppele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conrad Busse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Bachmayer having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Käppele during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Westsachsen's Hector Käppele got a free kick in the 60th minute. FC Westsachsen's Ole Regitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Lentz in the 64th minute of play. Karl Lentz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ole Regitz was a little too slow when Karl Lentz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-5. Sefton FC played a much better game than FC Westsachsen and deserved their victory. The FC Westsachsen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
