The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramzi Drouart in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramzi Drouart got free with Patrick Armstrong in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramzi Drouart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Armstrong having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Haithabu FC's Visar De Hond got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 39th minute, Ramzi Drouart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Armstrong was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramzi Drouart, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when Haithabu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Visar De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Torres in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Haithabu FC had won after a very even match.
