The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bert Wolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gigante da Colina getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eriberto Leme hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Leme in the 10th minute of play forced Frank Football's goalkeeper Nunez Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Cristiano Nogueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nunez Iraitz. Frank Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Nogueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Gerd Pflug made a precise shot to the right of Juan Arruda. Gigante da Colina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 29th minute Bert Wolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Football's Stefan Stedefeldt got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Frank Football getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Yves Anders hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Gigante da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Gaúcho. Nunez Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Nogueira in the 37th minute of play. Nunez Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iuri Queirós in the 39th minute of play. Nunez Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson de Lara in the 41st minute of the match. Nunez Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nunez Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bert Wolf kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerd Pflug to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter-Michael Rogowski hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ciprian Manciu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Frank Football's Bert Wolf made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Arruda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gigante da Colina's Juan Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bert Wolf in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Stedefeldt came free, but Juan Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bert Wolf got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Juan Arruda handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Nunez Iraitz was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Iuri Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iuri Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Nunez Iraitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iuri Queirós showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-3 in the 86 minute of play. Iuri Queirós's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nunez Iraitz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nunez Iraitz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Gigante da Colina's Cristiano Nogueira. But to his dismay, Cristiano Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Frank Football fully deserved thier win.
