The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Fritz Lindqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Bennis's Cain Velasquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fritz Lindqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cain Velasquez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 15 minutes in the game, Cain Velasquez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fritz Lindqvist having to interfere. Bennis's attentive Jonas Mercurio managed to snatch the ball when Stefan Hellström made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Cain Velasquez scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fritz Lindqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes of play, Bennis's Cain Velasquez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fritz Lindqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cain Velasquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Cain Velasquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Cain Velasquez made a precise shot to the right of Fritz Lindqvist. Sundborn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Cain Velasquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bennis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cain Velasquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Bennis's Cain Velasquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fritz Lindqvist. Fritz Lindqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Ahlén made a kick off. Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cain Velasquez in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. August Skålberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Bennis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdurrahman Aslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sundborn IF's Fritz Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdurrahman Aslan in the 58th minute of play. Joel Ahlén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Vase having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Harry Wallgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fritz Lindqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bennis made a substitution. Eskil Kvick replaced Abdurrahman Aslan. Roy Unesson made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bennis's Fermin Gregory. Fritz Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cain Velasquez in the 73rd minute of play. Sundborn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cain Velasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The Bennis fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Bennis's Cain Velasquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Cain Velasquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Lindqvist was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Fritz Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cain Velasquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Marcus Vase was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eddie Björk. Bennis's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
