Henry Nash was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 『挑战者』上海光明队's Luís Fernando de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save 『挑战者』上海光明队 from getting a goal against them. The supporters of 『挑战者』上海光明队 booed when TROYA CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Snäll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Nash having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fernando de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedykt Pilarski in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by TROYA CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 胡默景 was slow to take the kick. During this time 『挑战者』上海光明队's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Ulrik Juhlin drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind TROYA CF's goalkeeper. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís de Brito was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, TROYA CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Vlassiadis to maneuver through the defense. 龙悦竞 was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. 『挑战者』上海光明队's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luís de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute, Luís de Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Nash was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. TROYA CF's Andy Coulthard managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by 邵奕浩 in the 63 minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Luís de Brito fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Henry Nash, passed just outside the right post. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind 『挑战者』上海光明队's goalkeeper Luís Fernando de Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Fernando de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedykt Pilarski's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 74 minutes into the match, TROYA CF's goalkeeper Henry Nash had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leal Novais. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís de Brito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henry Nash. That made the score 1-4 in the 86 minute of play. Luís de Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Nash. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís de Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, TROYA CF's Ingmar Snäll got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in TROYA CF's zone, 胡默景 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Nash came out of the goal and 胡默景 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulrik Juhlin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
