Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uwe Nørtarp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Cortez having to interfere. If Dawid Kochowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Montrel came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pavao Zadro got free with Bill Carmichael in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Nørtarp, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Saul Montrel made a precise shot to the right of Bill Carmichael. Gasca Nebuna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gasca Nebuna made a substitution. Juliusz Julku replaced Sondang Prabowo. The wind increased when Juliusz Julku made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Pavao Zadro came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's Horacio Oliverios managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hamza Bihan in the 57 minute of the game. Hamza Bihan's late challenge caught a Lobos de Carelia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamza Bihan helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Gasca Nebuna got a freekick which was hit by Hamza Bihan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Oliverios in the 62nd minute of play forced Gasca Nebuna's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pavao Zadro came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Lobos de Carelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavao Zadro couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Laurendi came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bill Carmichael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Laurendi went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the game, Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Carmichael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Lobos de Carelia's Vladimiro Millano was substituted for Leonel Giro. Lobos de Carelia made a substitution. Cristobal Lia replaced Pavao Zadro. Uwe Nørtarp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Gasca Nebuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Beck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Uwe Nørtarp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez did a great save. 90 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Perico came free, but Bill Carmichael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Julku in the 93rd minute of play. Hamza Bihan hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gasca Nebuna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
