The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 17 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Jérémie Boix. Aage Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atahan Balon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aage Hill in the 20th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Jacob in the 80th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Luka Ljubenković had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Arendarski.
