The crowd rose to their feet as Edu Carvalho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nils Elmhuus. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 9th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Elmhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Tepedino in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gong Qi Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hansjörg Wastl was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Murgu in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus got control of the ball when Edu Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 20th minute of play. Edu Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gong Qi Fan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Nils Elmhuus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edu Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansjörg Wastl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Nils Elmhuus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Jabier Igual. Nils Elmhuus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felippe Pitta. After some careless play in the Playa Malvín defense, Henrique Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Elmhuus. The Playa Malvín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Elmhuus should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edu Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. Nils Elmhuus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Carvalho in the 55th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gong Qi Fan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gong Qi Fan couldn't finish the play. Joel Wigghers kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Valdemar Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Elmhuus was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Emiel Desmet replaced Valdemar Tepedino. Gong Qi Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Wastl having to interfere. Edu Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nils Elmhuus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. Quinto Ampudia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edu Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Elmhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Valladares in the 87th minute of play. Nils Elmhuus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Sena in the 88th minute of the match. Quinto Ampudia scored 4-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hansjörg Wastl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Playa Malvín had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
