An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Qi Fan in the 11th minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Martin Giöck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Stickleback Utd Xl defense, Gong Qi Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Giöck. The Stickleback Utd Xl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Giöck should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gong Qi Fan took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Giöck. Quinto Ampudia scored 5-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Giöck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Giöck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Mândrilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sandu Mândrilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Constantijn De Hond kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Martin Giöck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Nils Elmhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen Clapham in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Sandu Mândrilă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Giöck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0.
