Stickleback Utd Xl's Martin Giöck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Stickleback Utd Xl from getting a goal against them. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Frankie McFrank got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvester Odell in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Wagner Kill dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Giöck, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvester Odell came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kris Tetley struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stickleback Utd Xl. Martin Giöck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When Rareș Ozon fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stickleback Utd Xl's protests and gave Rareș Ozon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Wagner Kill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Pettifer in the 46th minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. Olly Paley replaced Silvester Odell.
