Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aage Hill took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Aage Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lance Shakespeare kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Aage Hill had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Giöck. Stickleback Utd Xl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aage Hill was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Monte Hermoso Beach's Aage Hill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Giöck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benji Browne in the 24th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Zachariasz Chmielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Aage Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aage Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Stickleback Utd Xl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Byfield to maneuver through the defense. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Hector Montrel replaced Aage Hill. Hector Montrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Giöck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darryl Howlett was the one to do the kick off. If Séamus Babasidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richie Byfield kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Martin Giöck came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel. But to his dismay, Hector Montrel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a little luck, Monte Hermoso Beach's Zachariasz Chmielecki got control of the ball when Kris Tetley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute Hector Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Giöck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Stickleback Utd Xl getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Richie Byfield hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Stickleback Utd Xl's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Montrel came free, but Martin Giöck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Giöck was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stickleback Utd Xl's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Hector Montrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Giöck was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Stickleback Utd Xl's zone, Hector Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Giöck came out of the goal and Hector Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monte Hermoso Beach's attentive Benito Cala managed to snatch the ball when Richie Byfield made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Montrel in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Giöck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Hector Montrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Giöck was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Montrel in the 89th minute of play forced Stickleback Utd Xl's goalkeeper Martin Giöck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stickleback Utd Xl's Martin Giöck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 90th minute of play. Monte Hermoso Beach's Zachariasz Chmielecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Monte Hermoso Beach from getting a goal against them. After 97 minutes Stickleback Utd Xl's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viktor Petrus who took care of the corner kick. Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Giöck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Stickleback Utd Xl's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
