Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiburcio Seber took the kick off in the first half of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Plaza Jewell's Tiburcio Seber in the 2nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pankracy Glogowski was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Atlético Atlanta through an amazing save. In the 4th minute Plaza Jewell were awarded a corner. Jacobo Barros went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jacobo Barros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pankracy Glogowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Mei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea in the 10th minute of play. Cayetano Playo charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayetano Playo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Playo. In the 13th minute, Anselmo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Nevada in the 17th minute of play. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 26th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Mei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Barros hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Club Atlético Atlanta's Ciro Ferdinand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pablo Mei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Atlanta reached it. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Nevada in the 35th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Mei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 46th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Goicoechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Remigio Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Mei made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Alfonso Goicoechea sent off a good shot on target. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Jewell from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Nevada. Tiburcio Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Mei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Goicoechea in the 75th minute. Tiburcio Seber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Goicoechea came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Seber in the 82nd minute of play. Jacobo Barros hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Plaza Jewell's Pablo Mei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Jewell from getting a goal against them. Pablo Mei had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ciro Ferdinand's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 95 played minutes Plaza Jewell got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Barros.
