Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anacleto Libertad started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Theocharis Vrachos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Guacho Pistola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theocharis Vrachos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Libertad's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, August Hoffmanns skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. August Hoffmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anacleto Libertad's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Rot-Weiss-Essen's Octavian Basten in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Guacho Pistola's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute of the match Rot-Weiss-Essen got a corner. Los Guacho Pistola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximilian Henning ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabio Cannavaro thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rodrigo Toribio, a very annoying self made goal in the 11th minute which led to 0-1. Theocharis Vrachos took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised August Hoffmanns. August Hoffmanns dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Theocharis Vrachos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Los Guacho Pistola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theocharis Vrachos couldn't finish the play. Los Guacho Pistola's Anacleto Libertad got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Toribio came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos. But to his dismay, Anestis Kotsopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rodrigo Toribio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Basten's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Los Guacho Pistola got a freekick which was hit by Liu Yi Li. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Libertad got free with August Hoffmanns in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 55 minutes, Hugo Haupt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rot-Weiss-Essen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Haupt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Libertad in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Los Guacho Pistola were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladan Leszczynski took the corner. 叶默卫 hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. August Hoffmanns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anacleto Libertad's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Los Guacho Pistola getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ermegildo Precioso hit a great ball. August Hoffmanns came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Guacho Pistola's Anacleto Libertad. But to his dismay, Anacleto Libertad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Özil in the 73rd minute of play forced Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Rodrigo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Marco-Antonio van Basten got a free kick in the 75th minute. Theocharis Vrachos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. When Rot-Weiss-Essen's Octavian Basten in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Guacho Pistola's goalie prevented a goal. Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theocharis Vrachos in the 81st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Zuid during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when Los Guacho Pistola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Zuid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rot-Weiss-Essen's zone, Anacleto Libertad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Hoffmanns came out of the goal and Anacleto Libertad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Hugo Haupt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rodrigo Toribio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Rot-Weiss-Essen's Octavian Basten in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Guacho Pistola's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maximilian Henning to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Toribio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Despite being the better team, Los Guacho Pistola failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
