With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Martins saved Hoberg United from getting behind. Dida Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Cassaretto's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Enrique Cassaretto might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dida Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrique Cassaretto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 15th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Dida Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balázs Sebes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Enrique Cassaretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Martins. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Cassaretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hoberg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balázs Sebes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Cintya Palacios came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Balázs Sebes to strike the kick off in the second half. Hoberg United's Dida Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Hoberg United from getting a goal against them. Hoberg United's Claudio-Paul Pirinchev managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mosen Colillas in the 93 minute of the game. Chants of CD Municipal echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hoberg United had held the ball for most of the match.
