But to his dismay, Francis Coppola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 45th match minute, MasterBets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Ţurlău to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Zăvoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Roman in the 46th minute.

The supporters of CD Municipal booed when MasterBets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gong Zhi Peng didn't get a good kick on the ball. The MasterBets supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MasterBets would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
